It is known asThe Occidental Costa del Sol the region found in the southwest of the province of Malaga with touristic localities such as Benalmádena, Casares, Estepona, Fuengirola, Manilva, Marbella, Mijas o Torremolinos.

The route begins in the town ofTorremolinos, where every thursday you can enjoy the traditional local market in the district of Calvario, this is where you can find the most tipical bars of the area.
The comercial area starts inCalle San Miguel where you find all types of shops.At the end of the road you can visitTorre Pimentel, also known as Torre de los Molinos,symbol of the city.
If you're looking to leisure with the family, at the north of the city you can find Aqualand–Torremolinos, the first aquatic park in Spain with 70.000 m2 of fun. More towards the west we arrive to the port complex, pricewinner of" the best navy in the world" the marina of Benalmádena with a big comercial and leisure offer more than 1000 morings and the Aquarium Sea Life where you can observe many different indigenous species.
In Benalmádena we can enjoy the most extense green area in the city, el Parque de la Paloma 200.000 m2 park, recreational areas and a zoo.

From Benalmadena we arrive to Mijas where we can go round the village on a donkeytaxi. The village has a special parking situated in la Avenida de la Virgen de la Peña.
In Fuengirola you will find one of the largest seafront promenades of Spain, El Paseo Marítimo Rey de España. All along its 7 kilómeters of lenght are situated el Puerto Pesquero (fishing port), el Puerto Deportivo (marina) , el Club náutico (nautical club) y el Centro de Investigaciones Oceanográficas (oceanographic investigation center).

And we arrive to Marbella, by all means the most international touristic area. In the center of casco viejo you can find La Plaza de los Naranjos place full of life both during the day for being one of the comercial areas, and at night for having the best restaurants. Throughout the seafront promenade we get to Puerto Banus, one of Marbella's main attractions rewarded with the gold medal of tourism and enclave of celebrities. There you can find the most luxurious yachts in the world and the best shops.

Following the coast, we get to Esteponaand the leisure parc "Parque temático Selwo Aventura" where animals of all continents live in partial freedom. And to finish the rute, el Castillo de la Duquesa in Manilva. also called Castillo de Sabanillas, situated in the place where in the past existed a roman villa Los Baños de la Hedionda in Casares, baños naturales with roman origin, built folowing the orders of Julio Cesar in I b.c when he discovered the healing effects of those waters rich in iron and sulfur.
