I wanted to share my positive experience. The whole rent was very fair and the car we were given was new. There was no caution needed, and the coverage had everything included so we didn't have to worry about an accident. The price was also very fair and not like in other more famous renting offices. The shuttle was very often and we didn't have to wait. The best part is that the employees were very professional, which is not easy to find. At the return of the car, there was a small difference, for which very politely the office found a solution, something that I appreciated a lot. This shows professionalism. Definitely will be renting again, the next time I am in Rome, and I am glad I chose this car renting company.

I think it was the easiest and smoothest car rental I ever experienced and we travel a lot in and out Europe. The price was unbeatable for full cover insurance, really you do not need to worry about anything. The car was good, shuttle to airport without any problem. Definitely will rent again!

Best rental car I've ever rented in. Price very satisfied based on the car types. Pickup car was smoothly and no need for deposit only they charged you 129€ for fuel, once you return the car with full tank then you receive your charge. I have small notice, tires was close to die but not bad. Also they have a bus shuttle to take you from and to airport. I hope it's not the last time for renting with them.

We rented a car from Centauro at Milan Bergamo Airport and had a great experience. The car was spotless, ready to go, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. What really stood out was the no-deposit option – super handy and took a lot of pressure off. Someone actually bumped into our car during the trip, and Centauro didn't make a fuss at all. They were professional, didn't question anything, and even refunded our fuel deposit without issues. Highly recommend them if you're looking for reliable, no-hassle car hire in Italy!

Great rent a car service, perhaps the best we ever had. The shuttle was right on time and knew we were coming, the reception was waiting for us when we arrived, it took 5 mins to sign the paperwork and the car was ready. Same on return. It's not often you get good service in this industry, this was outstanding. Well done

Car provided for my one week rental. The car was clean and in excellent condition. The service provided by staff was great. It was easy to locate the office in the airport and fairly smooth to return the car at the airport after rental. I would use Centauro again.

Great experience with the rental company in Sicily. We received detailed instructions where to wait the shuttle bus. It came after 10-15 minutes, drove us to the parking lot where we did the paperwork and took the car. Be aware of the upselling they do, they offer a better car than the one which was reserved, but it's still not too expensive. They take a small deposit for the gas (for us it was cca 42€, which they return if you return half the tank). The car was really great, we had no issues.

If you need a car at the airport in Catania, look no further. Centauro is an excellent choice. Our car (a Nissan Juke) was literally brand new – only 1,700 km on the clock. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. And most importantly – there were no hidden fees; everything was clear and transparent. I highly recommend them!

The staff are very friendly, especially Diana. The cars are very new. I even rented a brand new car. I had already rented from Centauro and I always check to see if the specific franchise is good. I would definitely rent a car from them again in Bologna. One additional piece of information is that they pick you up and take you by van from the airport to the rental location.

Cancel a Booking

  • What is the cancellation policy? Is there a charge?

    There are no cancellation costs with Centauro Rent a Car if you have booked directly with us and as long as you cancel your booking on our website, which is why we suggest booking early to guarantee availability and the best price. 

    Using our booking platform on the website, you can easily cancel your reservation without any charge up to 24hours before the scheduled pick-up time of your booking. After this period, no refunds will be applicable.

    Please remember that we have reserved a car especially for you, if you are not going to use it, this vehicle could be used for another customer.

    In the event of a cancellation, you can choose a coupon to use on future occasions, or a refund of your reservation.

  • How do I cancel my booking?

    You can cancel the reservation directly on our website. Just include the booking number and email address you used when you made the reservation and you then have the option to cancel.
