The offices of Centauro Rent a Car in Portugal obtain Aenor’s 'Quality Management' certificate

Our offices in Portugal have obtained AENOR’s Quality Management Certificate (ISO 9001: 2015) for their "excellence in customer service". The Spanish car rental company currently has 4 offices in Portugal’s most touristic destinations: Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Madeira.
This certification is granted in a "record time", in the company's opinion, since Centauro Rent a Car took its first steps in Portugal only two years ago. "The certification is a milestone for our brand. It is an example of the commendable effort that our Portugal team is making to consolidate quality standards for us to offer the best standardized customer service in any of our offices", says Diego Villalgordo, Director of Operations of Centauro Rent a Car. “The AENOR certification also encourages us to continue innovating our products and services, to meet the new needs of our customers, in a changing environment where new technologies gain ground”, he explains.
In addition to Portugal, Centauro Rent a Car has already been granted the Quality Management Certificate (ISO 9001: 2015) for its central offices in Spain and also for the entire branch network of our country -15 offices in total- from 2004. The company's central offices are located in modern facilities in the Finestrat industrial park (Alicante), where the company relocated in 2017.
Within Centauro Rent a Car’s international expansion plan, the Spanish brand aims to obtain, in the medium term, AENOR’s quality certification in all the branches of the countries where it operates (Spain, Italy and Portugal). "'Pursuit of excellence' is the 'mantra' of our company; we want to pass on those corporate values to our employees in the countries where we operate. AENOR's quality certification is the best way to recognize our commitment to good customer service", says Diego Villalgordo.
Double-digit exponential growth
After the good results obtained in 2017 (an EBITDA of 14.6M, 32% more than the previous year), Centauro Rent a Car expects to continue its exponential growth in double digits this year. In addition, the company‘s 'roadmap' is to extend its national and international expansion plan to strategic enclaves.
